Mahana School is located about 30 minutes from Nelson city. Our school is a rural full primary (ages 5 - 13) with a roll of about 65 -70 students and three classrooms.

Our school has just brought some new unicycles and we are keeping a log of our progress. Pako

Our school is learning about natural disasters. The Middle Roomers made volcanos in the school sandpit. We named one of them Mount Mentos because we put coke and Mentos to make it explode that's the girls one. The boys called their one Mount Soda.We used red dye, baking soda and vinegar. Thats how we did it and here are some pictures to prove it.

The Junior Roomers cooked some scrambled eggs and toast. Eggs start with the letter Ee and they tasted Excellent. Here are some photos of us eating our eggs and toast.
